What is COREtec’s mineral core?

COREtec’s mineral core is free of PVC and plasticizers. This newer rigid mineral core offers indentation resistance with dimensional stability. COREtec Tile & Stone is ideal for large spaces and rooms with high temperatures, in either residential or commercial settings. Moisture from above or below will not affect the flooring since it is waterproof. COREtec’s mineral core is durable, strong, and nearly dent proof. It has a thermo-resin layer on top that provides the scratch resistance & fire protection that has almost a laminate-like finish. The core and cork underlayment dampen noise from footstep and provide comfort underfoot. Also, this product is a direct glue or floating floor and does not need acclimation time.

COREtec Stone products have a limited lifetime structural warranty. It is available in 40 patterns that feature realistic stone visuals such as granite, travertine, and marble in polished and matte options.
